Gilligan Moss Create Mixtape For Adventure Time's BMO

**Beloved Adventure Time character BMO has received its very own mixtape from Gilligan Moss to celebrate Adventure Time: Distant Lands.**

There have been few shows on television that pair with dance music as perfectly as Adventure Time does. Since its debut, the show has won the hearts over of millions around the world who have immersed themselves in the stories found within the series while also providing inspiration for countless others. Now, in celebration of Adventure Time: Distant Lands on HBO MAX, Gilligan Moss created a mixtape for the show’s first special focused on BMO.

Known for their performances at festivals and prior releases like What Happened and “Ultraparadiso” that landed on ODESZA’s Foreign Family Collective, Gilligan Moss has showcased serene sounds throughout their career. Now, the Brooklyn-based duo has set off to take their fans as well as those of Adventure Time to greater heights with this 11-track mixtape that re-imagines clips from the show to create a memorable journey.

“Adventure Time is one of our favorite shows so when they asked us to create a mixtape for BMO we leaped at the opportunity. We were sent stems from the show’s amazing treasure trove of music, and we built around 20 ideas of little beats and song ideas from the disparate stems. It was an extremely fun creative exercise. Each song is a little world on the Adventure Time journey, so we stitched them together into a continuous, bizarro space opera. It’s a joyful ride + was truly a joy to create.“
