Dynamic duo Disclosure is celebrating the release of their upcoming album ENERGY with an experience on Minecraft for fans to explore!
As one of the most renowned duos in the dance music scene, Disclosure continues to impress with a plethora of releases and performances that keep fans moving to the beat. Over the past few months, they’ve built up an immense amount of hype surrounding the release of their forthcoming album ENERGY with singles and a livestream from Plitvice Lakes National Park in Croatia. But now, they’ve announced their latest experience with sights set on the virtual realm.
On Friday, August 28, Disclosure will be celebrating the release of ENERGY in one of the most unique ways possible, with a Minecraft experience that will connect fans around the world. Using over 100 million blocks to create a virtual world based on their album art, the landscape is filled with rolling hills, caverns, and three (that’s right, three) underground clubs for those who embark on the journey.
Disclosure will also soundtrack the experience with a mix featuring sounds from ENERGY as well as the classics from their catalog, and fans will also be able to discover 13 8-bit reworks of their original tunes and other Easter Eggs throughout the map. And don’t fret if you miss out on the first day of the festivities, because the multiplayer server will be live for a full week as it evolves over time. There will be a permanent download of the experience available following the completion of the experience as well.
Mark your calendars for August 28 if you plan to immerse yourself in the world that Disclosure has created inside Minecraft and head over to their website for more information on the experience. Don’t forget that the experience requires the Java Edition of Minecraft which is available for Windows, Linux, and MacOS, and can be purchased via Minecraft.net.
