Colyn Brings the 'Concepts of Love' to Rose Avenue Records

Melodic techno artist Colyn heads to RÜFÜS DU SOL’s Rose Avenue Records to deliver his latest release, a two-track EP called Concepts of Love.

If you love the sound of melodic techno then DJ and producer Colyn is an artist who should be on your radar. Gaining initial momentum after renowned duo Tale Of Us began playing his tracks in their sets and signed him to their Afterlife imprint, he hasn’t shown signs of slowing down in the slightest. Now, he’s headed to RÜFÜS DU SOL’s Rose Avenue Records to gift us with some hypnotic grooves with his latest release, the Concepts of Love EP.

Lead track “Running” sees Colyn team up with his brother, Maurits Colijn, to construct a near eight-minute journey that is impossible to tear yourself away from. Featuring soaring synths and stunning sound design, this tune is the epitome of why so many are drawn to this style of dance music. Title track “Concept of Love” evokes similar emotions as it drives forward to deliver all who listen in to a bliss-like state full of serene sounds and infectious grooves.

Colyn provided some extra insight on the EP as well, stating “This is a very special release to me as it features a long-desired collaboration with my brother Maurits. The EP bounces between two emotions. The happiness and joy of a newly found love that is showcased in concepts of love. On the other hand, Running features the feeling of losing something very dear, something that once meant everything to you but is now drawing to an unavoidable end.”
