Cityfox continues to raise the bar for NYC nightlife with Cityfox LIVE 2020. The eight-hour, multi-stage spectacle comes to Avant Gardner in February!
Following on the heels of the spooktacular Cityfox Halloween and the epic 27-hour Cityfox Odyssey, Brooklyn will welcome Cityfox LIVE to celebrate its 2nd annual edition at Avant Gardner. After last year’s successful debut, Cityfox continues to champion its electronic music event exclusively showcasing and celebrating the art and craftsmanship of LIVE performance.
Update January 30: Cityfox has revealed the complete lineup for the February event. Newly announced acts live acts include Gui Boratto, Rodriguez Jr., Christian Löffler, Kate Simko, and Robert Owens. Those first two were among my favorites at the Cityfox Halloween Festival a few months ago!
Previously: Featuring live house and techno acts, Cityfox LIVE will welcome a global lineup including German Paul Kalkbrenner, Schwarzmann (comprised of Innervision visionaries Frank Wiedemann & Henrik Schwarz), Canadian Mathew Jonson back-to-back with Italian trio Agents Of Time, Cologne’s Tim Engelhardt, Berlin’s Midas 104, Cocoon mainstay Tim Green back-to-back with ebb + flow’s Justin Marchacos, LA-based Jon Charnis, and classically trained violinist Seth Schwarz. Plus more performers to be announced!
Cityfox has put on a number of successful events at Avant Gardner in 2019 and they get better every time.
Based on the track record of the 2019 events, this opening 2020 event is certainly not to be missed. The initial lineup assures superstars with a number of different styles providing something for everyone and with bespoke audio/visual installations at each of the last two shows, perhaps there’s another treat in store as well. We’re also expecting at least one ambient lounge as a respite from the music and crowds on the dance floors.
Avant Gardner continues to showcase itself as the top venue in the NYC area for electronic music. With three permanent stages and limitless configurations that can include additional rooms and stages, locals and travelers alike continue to flock to the venue for premier events. With the announcement of Cityfox LIVE it looks like 2020 will see more of the best in Brooklyn!
