Ahead his forthcoming album Lavender God on mau5trap, ATTLAS has unveiled its first single “Sinner Complicated” and a stunning visualizer for the track.
Over the past few years, ATTLAS has been carving out his own space in the electronic music scene with powerful releases and sets that have left crowds in a state of awe. Constantly evolving as an artist, he’s really come into his own after unveiling the Charcoal Halo EP back in 2018 and hasn’t slowed down since.
Now, he’s unveiled the first details for his debut album Lavender God and also delivered its first single, “Sinner Complicated” that gives his fans a taste of what’s to come in 2020. Spread across the progressive track’s six-minute runtime are percussive elements and quality synth work that keep everything on pace as it drives forward into the depths of the electronic soundscape that ATTLAS has created.
Accompanying the release of the track is an absolutely beautiful 3D, motion graphic video that was shot by Cyclo. Taking listeners on a visual journey full of patterns and vibrant colors, it pairs perfectly with the vibe that the track brings with it. Speaking about the visualizer, he stated, “After listening to this track for the first time, I knew I wanted to create a journey through a surreal landscape—one that started out as something very familiar. But as the track progresses, the journey evolves into the unknown.”

“‘Sinner Complicated’ is a textured and atmospheric roller that progresses with narrative intention from the beginning. It’s a good first introduction to the album as well – the melodies through both the track and album are much more a result of live performance, and the arrangements let their energies ebb and flow with an almost restless spirit. Freedom and the grand mystery are the themes that drove me throughout the process.”
