Mersiv Drops Lead Single From Upcoming Album 'NOSTALGIA'

**Eclectic bass producer Mersiv begins to unveil the sonic world of his fifth studio album, NOSTALGIA, with the release of its lead single “Kickback.”**

Mersiv has wiped his Instagram, starting fresh as he heads into a new chapter of his project. The standout bass act and label boss of MorFlo Records recently unveiled that his fifth studio album is on the way. Announced on Instagram through a creative promotional video, Mersiv is set to release his new record, NOSTALGIA, this fall.

Fans received the first taste of his latest studio album with the release of “Kickback.” Released on August 25, the initial track for NOSTALGIA sets the tone for what’s to come. Opening with electric guitars, the song builds to a climax before dropping into an explosive drop. While the track begins with a rock-heavy feel, “Kickback” feels very true to Mersiv’s sound while adding elements that elevate his production.

With two recent releases featuring rock influences, it’s only a matter of time before we see if Mersiv continues to lean into the brooding sounds of grunge and alternative music. NOSTALGIA will arrive this fall, although an official release date has yet to be announced.

To promote his latest single, Mersiv held a free pop-up show in Denver, Colorado, on August 23. Held at Moodswing, the pop-up featured a Go Down set from Mersiv, as well as performances from VEIL, Lucasso, and a Liquid Smoak set from Smoakland. Mersiv is set to return to Colorado on October 23 for Mersiv Rocks 444: Terraform with two original sets at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
