OH! Release Debut Album, 'We Come In Peace'

OH!’s 16-track LP blends post-punk, synth-pop, and new wave into a seamless sonic journey featuring Local Suicide, Tareq, Sarah P., and more.

Crafted entirely on analog hardware at Italy’s renowned Elfo Studio without a single sample, We Come In Peace showcases the gritty, real-time electronic production of OH!, comprised of Italian duo Massimo Paramour and Gianluca Pighi. Released via Huldigung Records, the album anchors its diverse sonic landscape with vocals from the producers themselves, elevated by strategic collaborations with new wave and dark disco vocalists that give the record a unified direction.

The album as a whole recalls the atmospheric synth work of Tangerine Dream and the sleek melodies of The Human League, though it never feels stuck in the past. Every sound and vocal choice feels intentional, and the duo consistently push beyond their comfort zone.

From the hypnotic, slow-building “Don’t Give Up” featuring Lavonz to the dreamlike haze of “Inside A Dream” with Tareq, the album thrives on strong collaborations and meticulous production. The title track stands as the emotional centerpiece of the record, carrying its nostalgic weight with understated confidence and bringing a sense of warmth as the album nears its conclusion.
