The fourth volume of Dreamstate Records’ Convergence compilation series features energetic trance tunes by legends and forward-thinking phenoms.

Many in the US have been thinking about trance this summer, especially with Dreamstate continuing its recent announcements. Not only has the brand dropped the lineup for its annual soiree in Southern California, which was filled to the brim with some legendary artists and other surprises, but they’re bringing satellite editions to Chicago and Washington DC. In addition to that, Dreamstate Records has bolstered the scene with releases to help satiate cravings for fresh trance tunes, and the latest to arrive is Convergence Vol. 4.

The Convergence series from Dreamstate Records has fostered soundscapes from sought-after artists and those who are part of the new wave championing the sound of trance. The fourth volume in the series is no different, as the label has looked to Judge Jules, Sean Tyas & abstrkt, Jordan Suckley, and Harshil Kamdar for some energetic offerings.

Judge Jules kicks off the compilation with “I Lost Myself.” The spoken word vocal dominates the intro as the tune begins to swell, leading to a powerful drop that will kick your body into gear and whisk you to a different state of mind. Speaking of states of mind, Sean Tyas and abstrkt continue with that theme by delivering “Sound Mind.” This massive hard trance track features rave stabs, acid tones, and synths that will completely consume every sense of your being as the seconds tick away.

The hard trance grooves continue when Jordan Suckley says everything is “Looking Good.” The repeated vocals set for stun before the booming bassline and trance-fueled builds take over, making it a perfect fit for peak time moments on the dancefloor. Then, the final tune on Convergence Vol. 4 arrives from Harshil Kamdar. He sweeps listeners off their feet from the jump with an uplifting atmosphere on “GAIA Momento” that builds into a larger-than-life, main stage-ready ride filled with flourishes of emotion-fueled melodies.
