KAYTRANADA delivered another helping of fantastic tracks on TIMELESS while working with a star-studded team of collaborators.

Haitian-Canadian artist KAYTRANADA has left a massive mark on the scene over the years with countless releases that have pushed sonic boundaries with blurred lines between house, hip-hop, and more. Albums like 99.9% and BUBBA have received plenty of accolades, including the Juno Award for Electronic Album of the Year and two Grammys for Best Dance/Electronic Album and Best Dance Electronic Recording. But KAYTRANADA clearly wasn’t planning to rest on his laurels.

Last year saw KAYTRANDA team up with Aminé to bring Kaytraminé to life, a decade-in-the-making collaborative project that brought some of the best in hip-hop into the mix. Yet there was still more to come from the beloved artist as he began to gear up for his third studio album, TIMELESS.

The lead-up to TIMELESS saw KAYTRANADA drop singles “Lover/Friend” with Rochelle Jordan and “Drip Sweat” with Channel Tres, both of which helped set the tone for what would arrive on the album. “Lover/Friend” helped him close out last year on a strong note, while “Drip Sweat” saw him reunite with Channel Tres for another forward-thinking track that will get your body moving right along with it. Now, the full album has been revealed, and the buzz from fans and tastemakers alike has been enormous.

TIMELESS offers 17 tracks with four bonus tunes, all of which showcase the powerful production and collaborative nature that KAYTRANDA brings to his productions. Solo tracks like “Dance Dance Dance Dance” and “Seemingly” provide absolutely gorgeous soundscapes that listeners can bop along to. Meanwhile, his work with others has stood just as tall.

Lou Phelps‘ lyrical flow on “Call U Up” sticks out as the energetic groove on the track helps pump the energy for the rest of the album. “More Than A Little Bit” with Tinashe, “Witchy” with Childish Gambino, and “Do 2 Me” with Anderson .Paak and SiR all arrive toward the end of the album but are KAYTRANADA at his best. The pairing of organic percussion and quality vocal performances make these three tunes ones that you’ll find yourself coming back to again and again.

Listen to TIMELESS on Spotify or your preferred platform, and stay tuned for more from KAYTRANADA by following him on social media.
