D-Block & S-te-Fan and DJ The Prophet inject the hardstyle scene with feel-good summer vibes on their first-ever collaboration, “Nothing But Rave.”

Since the dawn of hardcore and hardstyle, many artists have made their mark on the scene with original records that push the limits of tempo, distortion, and power. Originators like DJ The Prophet have had a direct influence on the successful sounds of today through iconic records and unforgettable live experiences. Meanwhile, other artists have stood on the shoulders of giants to evolve the sound and push the harder styles into the future like D-Block & S-te-Fan.

Despite always working closely in the scene and maintaining a home on the same label, Scantraxx, the two have never officially crossed paths – until now. Moved by DJ The Prophet’s incredible final performance at Defqon.1 Weekend Festival, D-Block & S-te-Fan asked DJ The Prophet to join them for one last track. Their first-ever collaboration, “Nothing But Rave,” marks one of the most iconic collaborations in hardstyle history as both artists’ styles seamlessly blend old-school sounds with the feel-good vibes of the present.

Nothing But Rave’ resembles the sound of the early days, when we, as visitors, fell in love with hard dance music and got in touch with The Prophet. We combined the classic rave sound with hardstyle to create a modern-day rave song that turned out amazing. And let’s be honest, we all can’t stop raving!

This bouncy record delivers an infectious combination of old-school rave sounds with a dose of modern-day hardstyle flavor. Paired with irresistible vocals and uplifting drops, “Nothing But Rave” perfectly captures the essence of summer raves. In addition, this new record celebrates the career of DJ The Prophet, leaving fans with one more good memory before he sets off on his new chapter of life again.

Contrary to what some may think, my shift from hardstyle/hardcore isn’t due to lost love. Love for the harder styles never fades; it merely evolves. This special collaboration with D-Block and S-te-Fan only came to be after my era as The Prophet, showcasing that change isn’t about ending one chapter, but starting another filled with new creative possibilities.
