After nearly three years since releasing “CRANK IT,” J. Slai enlists promising producers like Rollz Royce, JAYxBERN, and more for CRANK IT: THE REMIXES.

American Hard Dance is filled to the brim with talent who consistently push the boundaries of music with fresh ideas that challenge the cookie-cutter status quo. Out of everyone in the States who is attempting to carry the sound, nobody has completely grasped the true spirit of American Hard Dance like J. Slai has.

Among projects like Las Niñas Quieren Hardcore, Did You Just Assume My Genre?!, and his epic remix of “No Bailes Así,” J. Slai has always delivered something new by flipping the genre upside down, becoming an undisputed leader of the scene. One track, however, has stood out from the rest for its combination of speed house, hard dance, and hardcore: “CRANK IT.”

Originally released on the first volume of a compilation album series from Dyehard Records, LIVE FAST DYE HARD, this record proved J. Slai’s ability to dominate among a new generation of American Hard Dance artists. Nearly three years later, he enlisted a new breed of producers to give this record a brand-new direction with CRANK IT: THE REMIXES.

My main focus on choosing who to include in the remix pack was to include artists who I am personally a fan of. There is nothing better than to hear my favorite producers take on my own tunes.

This time, listeners will find tons of hard dance records, beginning with a remix by Use Caution that combines big hardstyle kicks with extraterrestrial acid basslines. Rebeld puts her own spin on this tune with a raw first drop and a melodic climax reminiscent of the classic hardstyle formula.

Rollz Royce rounds out the hard dance remixes as he brings an aggressive taste to this tune. Simply put, listeners will know exactly when Rollz Royce’s remix comes through the speakers as his obnoxious but technically savvy production style shines brightly.

The EP concludes with remixes from JAYxBERN and V3GA. JAYxBERN’s remix became my favorite as he truly remixes “CRANK IT” by creating a bass house twist that breathes new life into the record. V3GA is another standout who brought the heat with a Schranz-inspired remix that will tear through any after party dancefloor.

Make sure to stream CRANK IT: THE REMIXES on your preferred platform to get a taste of rising hard dance talent in the States, and catch J. Slai in action soon at Rumble In The Summer!
