Alesso – Zig Zag
Grammy-nominated Alesso is leading a dance class at the mainstage with “Zig Zag.” The track opens with the lyrics, “Left, right, left, right…hit that zig-zag,” and before you know it your feet are activated.
But the lyrics aren’t the only thing getting the masses to shuffle in tandem, because this marks the official launch of Body Hi! There’s no doubt that Alesso has a plethora of bangers reserved for his label, so for now, let’s work on our dance moves.
You can do that by joining Alesso on tour! He’s heading to Red Rocks on April 11 before taking over Tao Beach in Vegas on April 13. Future dates and tickets can be found on his website!
Nicole Moudaber, Ida Engberg – I Haven’t Felt This Way
Now that we’re warmed up, MOOD Boss Nicole Moudaber and techno expert Ida Engberg throw extra fire under our feet with “I Haven’t Felt This Way.” Before even getting into the auditory details, the title is perfection, guaranteed to pull that exact response out of its listeners.
To prove that point, the duo deliver upbeat percussion that dances along a vibrating bassline. These elements are set below temperamental tones that ebb, flow, sparkle, and evolve. An eerie vocal ties it all together, and in a flash, you’re drawn into the dark to reflect on your emotional epiphany.
Eli Brown, Lilly Palmer – Gasoline
What do you get when you combine the combustible energy of Eli Brown and the high-test stylings of Lilly Palmer? “Gasoline,” a track that’s been doing major damage to dancefloors all over the world.
Anticipation burning, “Gasoline” made its way to the catalog of Factory 93, who brought the two together for an epic back-to-back at Beyond Wonderland. It’s filled with jarring high end elements, retro accents, and repetitive vocals that stick to the brain. No doubt, this one’s sticking around for a while.
Can we please keep these iconic collabs coming?
HoneyLuv – Right Spot
While the duos have been dominating, HuneyLuv dropped by to remind us that it doesn’t take two to tango. Case in point: “Right Spot.”
Her latest offering gets the juices flowing with a dominant percussive pump. Naughty vocals wrestle with the groove, driving the tune (and us) to a peak.
Not only is “Right Spot” ferociously flirty, but it marks her long-overdue Crosstown Rebels debut. Stay tuned for incoming remixes from Dennis Ferrer and Byron the Aquarius.
Volaris – Love To Give ft. Cammie Robinson
Let’s stick with the romantic theme that HoneyLuv set and finish with “Love To Give” by Volaris, one of our Artists To Watch. The track found its home on deadmau5‘s mau5trap and marks his third go-round on the label since jumping on with “Hand Of God.”
“Love To Give” hits all the feels, featuring passionate vocals from return collaborator Cammie Robinson. Highlights include a strong, lumbering bassline, elegant melodies packed with electricity, and a message that turns us inward to the heart.
Share the love and send this one to a friend!
