Dillon Francis, Space Rangers, BLOND:ISH, BLR, Miss Monique, and Dave Wincent delivered house and techno heaters during the week of March 18!
What a wild festival season kickoff! Ultra went underwater and Sara Landry seemingly led everyone to her set at Beyond Wonderland. But bumps in the road aside, the majority left with epic memories and an ache to get to their next massive! For now, though, it’s time to wind down with five fresh house and techno tunes.
Among our favorites is a sassy group collaboration led by dance music icon Dillon Francis, and elevated by rising duo Space Rangers and vocalist Sophie Powers. In addition, we found a future-forward throwback by BLOND:ISH and ForgiveMeTommy!, and one from BLR who brings a famed Sander Van Doorn track into 2024.
In the mood for melodic? We included an absolute gem from Miss Monique, and on the opposite end of the spectrum, David Wincent sets the afters ablaze! But it doesn’t stop there…
Stick around and explore Experts Only‘s Excursion Vol. III (Miami), Amelie Lens‘ first release of the year, Tchami and Malaa‘s Veni, Vidi, Vici, and Mahmut Orhan‘s debut album. We also suggest checking out Insomniac‘s new sublabel, Interstellar Recordings, before getting into the groove with an exclusive guest mix from Soul Clap and running it back with livesets from Ultra.
Read along for more information on five fresh tracks that dropped last week, and listen to more house and techno curations on EDM Identity’s Subterranean Sounds, House Heaters, Melodic Marvels, and Dancefloor Decadence Spotify playlists!

Dillon Francis, Space Rangers – Don’t Waste My Time ft. Sophie Powers
Dillon Francis is arguably one of the most entertaining DJs in the industry, vlogging his pre-show shenanigans, flinging burgers into the audience, and enjoying a well-deserved pocket taco once in a while. Equally as entertaining are Space Rangers and Sophie Powers, who join the award-winning producer on “Don’t Waste My Time.”
They put their unpretentious personalities on display by starring in a hilarious music video for the Ultra Music banger. The concept? Workers from Blow N’ Go: Leaves, Landscaping, and More (played by Space Rangers) link up with rival gardeners (played by Dillon Francis and Sophie Powers) and proceed to transform the townsfolk with their magical equipment.
Vengaboys – We Like To Party (BLOND:ISH and ForgiveMeTommy! Rework)
When it comes to entertainment, no one does it quite like the Dutch Eurodance group Vengaboys. But for millennials, bringing back the 1998 anthem “We Like To Party” will either leave you smitten with nostalgia or rolling your eyes at the silly soundscape.
If you identify with the latter, the Abracadabra Music boss BLOND:ISH and her dear friends ForgiveMeTommy! will surely win you over with their warm, atmospheric rendition. Need more convincing? BLOND:ISH was practically forced to release it after rinsing it on the road and watching her crowds go feral for it.
So if you’re ready to relive the past, jump on the Vengabus and ride it into the future!
Sander Van Doorn – Ori Tali Ma (BLR Remix)
Let’s stay on the nostalgia train for just a couple more minutes and revisit Sander Van Doorn’s 2015 hit, “Ori Tali Ma.” The original was delightfully worldly and fiercely festive, featuring an African chant set atop high-octane tech house percussion.
On the remix, Dutch trance producer Leon Bolier envokes his BLR alias, darkening the edges for a late-night lounge esthetic on Spinnin’ Deep. It’s impossible to keep from bouncing in tandem with the gritty sound bursts, leading the entire room to match the groove, a reaction that pays homage to the vocal translation, “The light within me salutes the light within you.”
Miss Monique – Bloom At Night
The last two tracks are reserved for the techno heads, and we begin with a melodic stunner from Ukrainian breakthrough star Miss Monique. “Bloom At Night” is available on Tomorrowland Music. As the title promises, its lush, life-giving sounds will allow your dance moves to bloom to perfection.
Not only is Miss Monique celebrating her latest release, but she’s gearing up to take the stage for her Coachella debut next month. She’s also been paying it forward by showcasing fellow Ukrainian artists on her Siona imprint. Next up is “Losing Control” by The Advocate arriving on March 29, and it’s one you don’t want to miss!
Dave Wincent – New Weapons
From melodic we move into raw, deep, and driving territory, closing this edition with a bang. “New Weapons” was plucked from Dave Wincent’s latest EP of the same name, featuring four red-hot Soma Records offerings. This one stood out due to its repetitive tone and demented details, hypnotizing anyone brave enough to smash play.
Wincent’s relationship with Soma kicked off back in 2022 when he graced two Collective Process editions (Vol. 5 and 6). This release marks Wincent’s second EP on the imprint, following the Donor EP exactly one year ago. It’s safe to say that the Hungarian tastemaker has secured his spot for many moons to come.
