Chase & Status’ 2024 US tour has gone so swimmingly that they’ve announced a sequel.
Toward the end of last year, UK drum and bass dons Chase & Status announced a 2024 tour consisting of dates throughout the US. Not even halfway through, they already have part two in the works — and this time, it includes several stops in Canada.
Chase & Status’ upcoming North American tour kicks off with a May 31 show at San Francisco‘s Regency Ballroom, more than a month and a half after they end their current US tour. They will then visit our neighbors to the north, first for a June 1 Boiler Room set in Toronto and then for a performance at Piknic Électronik on June 2.
The duo will return Stateside for a run of six dates that includes Bonnaroo in Manchester, Tennessee, on June 12 and Echostage in Washington, D.C. on June 21. After zigzagging over the border and back for Escapade Music Festival in Ottawa on June 22, and Electric Forest in Rothbury, Michigan on June 23, Chase & Status will conclude their tour in Canada with a July 5 performance at FVDED In The Park in Surrey, British Colombia and a July 6 stop at Badlands in Calgary.
The recent resurgence of drum and bass is turning out to be no momentary flash in the pan, and Chase & Status is clearly cashing in on its rise in popularity among EDM fans. The duo, respectively comprised of Saul Milton and Will Kennard, have been flying the drum and bass flag for more than two decades, having met at university in Manchester and launching their project in 2023.
Milton and Kennard delivered their first album, More than Alot, in 2008. Last year marked the release of their seventh studio-length effort, the ten-track 2 RUFF, Vol. 1.
