Progressive Afro-house twin duo FiNE have stepped into the life of label ownership with “Kidonda” offering a peek at what’s to come!
FiNE‘s brotherly bond and unyielding talents behind the decks, and in the studio, have rocketed the progressive Afro-house duo up the ranks in just a few short years. This weekend, they cranked up their momentum with the launch of their very own label, Sippy Time Records.
To celebrate we need the beats and FiNE aren’t ones to disappoint. Their latest chapter begins with “Kidonda,” featuring Idd Aziz, a Kenyan Afro-Fusion and Afro-house singer/songwriter and performer. He lends Kiswahili and Rabai vocals that caress the senses with a healing message. Breezy melodics and rousing percussion complete the experience.
“Kidonda” has already made a positive impression on the event scene, most recently at Glass Island in Sydney, Australia. FiNE was rinsing the ID when their idol and industry leader, Themba, took over the decks, locking a special moment in time for the boys and fans to look back on. But from here, it’s all about the future and what’s in store for Sippy Time!
On the horizon waits for a special remix of “Kidonda” from Enoo Napa. As one of the most respected creators in the Afro-house industry, there’s no doubt that he’s taken great care of the track. Some of Enoo Napa’s previous remix work includes “Music Is The Answer” by Black Coffee and “PATCHIDO” by AMÉMÉ, and you can get your hands on his take on “Kidonda” on March 15.
But wait, there’s more! The official launch party for Sippy Time Records is happening on Saturday, March 23, in Santa Monica in partnership with Among Friends. FiNE, Bondo, and Nica will be laying down the beats, so grab your tickets to be part of the party!
As we enter the Sippy Time era, grab your copy of “Kidonda” on your favorite music platform or stream the track on Spotify!
