Kasbo returns to Foreign Family Collective to announce his third studio album, The Learning Of Urgency, by releasing two new tracks sure to give you goosebumps.
Kasbo is no stranger to making music that stirs up deep emotion, telling stories through ethereal soundscapes that could move anyone to tears on the dancefloor. His debut album, Places We Don’t Know via Foreign Family Collective and Counter Records, marked the unfolding of a new chapter for the Swedish producer, earning widespread praise and leading him down a path of unwavering success. His second album, The Making of a Paracosm, garnered the same support and deep admiration. It offered an emotional outlet for many at the height of the pandemic.
Now, four years later, Kasbo is turning the page to an entirely new chapter with his third studio album set to be released this summer. The Learning Of Urgency tells an important story of the emotional turmoil that many artists know too well. With great success comes unrelenting pressure, instilling the need to constantly do more, achieve more, be more. This pressure led to a crossroads for Kasbo, and he could either slow down or drown in it.
The Learning Of Urgency is about the art of slowing down and tending to one’s own mental and physical well-being. It’s about rising up from to the surface, stronger and more inspired than ever before. Kasbo returns to Foreign Family Collective with an entirely new outlook — and a fresh sound set to envelop this entire body of work.
Two new tracks give fans a glimpse into what is to come. “Atlantis,” featuring the soothing vocals of Shallou and BJOERN, reflects on the inner workings of Kasbo’s desires for the future floating over an all-around breathtaking production. “Drift” feels like a euphoric, progressive daydream that sends shivers down my spine and leaves me craving for more.
