UK rising star Hamdi enlists the help of Taiki Nulight, Sammy Virji, Simula, and P Money for remixes and a vocal dub of his standout track, “Counting.”
The UK’s newest hotshot, Hamdi, has eagerly kept the momentum of his meteoric 2023 rise in electronic dance music going. First turning heads worldwide with his iconic track “Skanka,” the young star followed that with the 2023 release of another highly sought-after track of his, “Counting.” Not long after that, he blessed fans with a US debut tour and the Counting EP on Deadbeats.
Throughout 2023, Hamdi went on to grace stages across the globe, including some standout sets at DEF, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, and even his debut at Rampage Open Air. These accomplishments solidified his place as an artist to watch, earning him accolades like a spot on Billboard‘s “First Spin Roundup” and Beatportal‘s “50 Best Tracks of 2023.” It’s become clear that Hamdi’s not stopping for anyone, so we better hold on tight.
This remainse evident in 2024, as Hamdi has already announced his Showcase Tour set to cross the US with 10 stops and an absolutely stacked bill of support. Now, he returns to Deadbeats with new renditions of “Counting.” The Counting Remixes EP features three remixes by fellow stars Sammy Virji, Taiki Nulight, and Simula, as well as a vocal dub from P Money.

The remixes kick off with UK favorite Sammy Virji, with a fun UK garage twist that beckons you to dance. The legend Taiki Nulight then follows up with a banging low-end bass remix that will have listeners dropping it down low. Simula then takes over, transforming the track into a distinct and unforgettable drum and bass rendition. Last but not least, the remarkable grime MC P Money takes to the mic for a catchy vocal dub of the track, bringing the remix EP to a close.
