Fatboy Slim’s iconic beats are being re-imagined, and Bruno Martini stands at the starting line on the road to the Best Of Remixes EP!
Bridging the gap between electronic dance music and mainstream pop culture is multi-platinum and Grammy award-winning producer and DJ Fatboy Slim. He’s responsible for famed bangers like “Praise You,” “Right Here, Right Now,” and “Weapon Of Choice” featuring Bootsy Collins. Arguably, though, his most iconic track to date is “Eat, Sleep, Rave, Repeat” with Riva Starr and vocals by Beardyman.
While this tune has received a handful of remixes over the last decade, today, a new interpretation is available. It comes courtesy of Bruno Martini, the Brazilian multi-instrumentalist and collaborator of the stars, responsible for chart-smashing hits like “Hear Me Now” alongside Alok and Zeeba. With this arrival comes the news that the Best Of Remixes EP is officially taking shape!
I’m super excited to remix Fatboy Slim’s legendary track ‘Eat, Sleep, Rave, Repeat’ — an anthem in its own right. My goal was to fit it well with Brazil’s love for music and parties, especially with the carnival just around the corner! Fatboy Slim and Brazil are a perfect match. We love him so much! He has a lot to live up to, but Bruno Martini does this timeless track justice. He shortens the story but keeps the core vocals intact, placing them atop a simmering bassline and percussion. Precisely placed claps add extra oomph to the adventure, and the acid line is a thrilling touch we didn’t know we needed!
