Out March 14, Can You See Me? will mark Rezz’s fourth studio-length album.
Rezz‘s sonic assault of the electronic music landscape continues. More than two years have passed since the Canadian producer and DJ released her latest studio-length album, Spiral. Now, she has announced that her fourth such effort, Can You See Me?, will arrive on March 14.
“MY HEAVIEST TRACKS,” shared Rezz (real name Isabelle Rezazadeh) in social media posts. Little else is available regarding Can You See Me? at the time of writing. The midtempo maven has collaborated with artists like Subtronics as of late, so heavier bass offerings wouldn’t signal much of a departure for her upcoming album.
Rezazadeh had built up significant momentum by the time she released her first album, Mass Manipulation, in August 2017. At only 20 — and after producing music for only two years — she released her debut EP, Insurrection, via Skrillex‘s OWSLA imprint. The following year, her sophomore EP, The Silence is Deafening, arrived by way of deadmau5‘ mau5trap label.
Eight years and a dizzying whirlwind of international gigs later, Rezazadeh has added two more albums, 2018’s Certain Kind of Magic and 2021’s Spiral, to her ever-growing résumé. The latter year also marked the launch of her artist imprint, HypnoVizion Records. In addition to her own music as Rezz, the label has thus far provided a platform for artists like What So Not, EDDIE, and Super Future.
While Rezazadeh has only teased minimal details surrounding Can You See Me? at the time of writing, she’ll likely allow music from the album to trickle out little by little in the weeks leading up to its release. Then again, she may not. Rezz tends to play by her own rules, meaning that she may simply drop the album in full on the date it comes out.
Can You See Me? by Rezz is slated for release on March 14, 2024. Pre-save the album across platforms via HypnoVizion Records’ Linkfire.
