Lane 8’s Latest Winter Mixtape Is an ID-Filled Dream

in New Releases

Lane 8 curates serene sounds and a hearty helping of IDs from Rinzen, Kasablanca, Spencer Brown, and more for this year’s Winter Mixtape.

There’s plenty of excitement from fans of Lane 8 at the beginning of each season as the release of a new mixtape from the This Never Happened label boss becomes imminent. This year’s run has seen him gift plenty of quality beats for listeners to immerse themselves in throughout the spring, summer, and fall, and now, with the chilly winter months finally here, he’s closing out the year with a bang.

The Winter 2023 Mixtape from Lane 8 has finally arrived, and with it comes a curated collection of 43 tracks that span nearly three hours. While each seasonal mix has been littered with countless IDs that leave listeners yearning to see the light of day, the latest is filled to the brim with some stunners, and hints have already begun to roll in. Rinzen took to social media soon after its release to drop the surprise that the opening track is one of his own, a collaboration with Shallou called “Burnin.”

While the secret might be out surrounding the first track, there’s plenty more to be found in the Winter 2023 Mixtape. Pairings of IDs are spaced throughout its runtime, while other tracks from familiar faces like Kasablanca, Spencer Brown, Sultan + Shepard, Vegyn, Bob Moses, Lauren Mia, Cubicolor, and more have also found a home there. It’s the perfect mix to put on while you go about your day or perhaps find solace in the midst of the holiday madness that’s about to ensue, so make sure you give it a spin.
