Markus Schulz, ilan Bluestone, and Daniel Wanrooy take the reins of In Search Of Sunrise and deliver three fresh mixes for trance family members.

Few compilations in the dance music scene carry as much weight as In Search Of Sunrise. Originally helmed by Tiësto in 1999 and passed on to Richard Durand, this series became recognized as one of the best places to get a proper dose of trance and progressive-fueled soundscapes. More recently, the torch was passed again, with Markus Schulz leading the series as it approaches its 20th edition. But before it reaches that milestone, there’s one last stop: In Search Of Sunrise 19.

Recent iterations of the series have seen the likes of Jerome Isma-Ae, Gabriel & Dresden, Matt Fax, and more curate tunes for the three-disc collection, and In Search Of Sunrise 19 carries on with some fantastic support. Joining Markus Schulz are two standout artists who will surely win you over with the gorgeous gems they’ve selected for their mixes – ilan Bluestone and Daniel Wanrooy.

For his sixth ISOS mix, Markus Schulz offers his graceful tune with Sarah de Warren, “Light On,” along with “Summer of ’99,” before he dives into tracks from the likes of Matt Fax, ReDub, Tim Besamusca, Mike EFEX, Estiva, Daxson, and his longtime from KhoMha. There’s a touch of techno for some added flair to make this one stand tall, and closing with his In Search Of Sunrise remix of “Death of a Star” with HALIENE will leave you yearning for more.

The next dose arrives from beloved Anjuna artist ilan Bluestone, who offers a plethora of tracks to get lost in. True to form, there’s a heavy number of artists who call Anjunabeats home as he looks to the likes of Sunny Lax, Maor Levi, and Above & Beyond throughout the mix. Also layered in are a number of his own singles and remixes, as well as tracks from his Elysian project. And listen closely for the tunes from rising star Adam Stark if you want to get swept off your feet.

And if you didn’t quite get your fill yet, have no fear because Daniel Wanrooy is here! He closes out the three-disc ride with 18 tracks that are sure to leave you feeling as if you’re floating. From his collaborations with JES and BLR, “We’ll Be Together” and “Cielo,” to selections from the likes of Cor Fijneman, Sherano & Amber Revival, Truetone, Mark Norman, and Fonzerelli, there’s so much to explore throughout its runtime.
