Lightning in a Bottle (LiB) is slated to return to Buena Vista Lake, California from May 22-27, 2024. Organized by West Coast promoter Do LaB, it offers a more boutique electronic music experience than some of the leading festivals on the market. As of tomorrow, Friday, November 17 at 10am PT, Early Bird Passes to next year’s event will go on sale at long last.
The Early Bird Sale follows LiB’s June Lightning Sale, which offered passes to next year’s festival at a discount. While that ship has sailed, attendee hopefuls would still do well to lock in their tickets now. Payment plans start at $19.95 plus fees for GA passes to the six-day gathering. VIP passes are also available for those who want to experience the festival in style, with access to private lounges, air-conditioned restrooms, phone charging stations, and more.
General camping options are available, as well as the Atlaswyld Boutique Camping, which includes a tent or Airstream option. This year sees Lightning in a Bottle bring a new camping experience into the mix, Easy Peasy, which are tent or RV packages already set up and ready to go upon arrival at the festival to make your experience one that’s seamless.
No lineup details have been announced for LiB 2024 at the time of writing. Previous editions of the festival have billed the likes of TOKiMONSTA, Random Rab, Beats Antique, Tale of Us, and Liquid Stranger.
Lightning in a Bottle was inaugurated in 2004, taking inspiration from a private birthday party that took place annually from 2000-2003. After a year off, the 2006 edition saw organizers relocate to Gold Creek Ranch in the Angeles National Forest. The festival bounced between Oak Canyon Ranch in Silverado and San Antonio Reservoir in Bradley from 2010-2018 before landing at its current home of Buena Vista Lake in Bakersfield starting in 2019.
