HAAi is ascending to even greater heights in the scene with the latest installment in the iconic DJ-Kicks mix series.

The land Down Under has been home to countless greats in the electronic music scene over the years, and multi-talented artist HAAi has shined brightly among the pack. From taking the stage at festivals like Glastonbury, CRSSD Festival, and more to collaborating with artists ranging from Fred again.. to Jon Hopkins, nothing has seemingly got in the way of this Aussie’s rise to greatness. Now, HAAi is flexing her innate abilities as a selector and producer by joining the iconic DJ-Kicks mix series.

HAAi has proven herself to be one of the best acts in the scene for anyone looking for refreshing sets and tracks that are eclectic at their core. Her DJ-Kicks mix sees her showcase how deep her curation goes with selections from some of her biggest inspirations in the scene. She also layers in some tasty new exclusive tunes for listeners to bask in, including “Always Ascending,” which is an absolute gem that sees her team up with icon Jon Hopkins and KAM-BU.

I wanted this mix to feel like a continual ascension to collective euphoria. A collection of tracks from friends and heroes new and old. I. Jordan, The Blessed Madonna, Surusinghe, Manni Dee, DJ PGZ, Koreless, Joshua James, Cocktail party effect, as well as three exclusive tracks of my own. Including the title track ‘Always Ascending’. A collaboration between myself, Jon Hopkins, and KAM-BU. This was made with great love and care. I hope it finds a special place on your record shelf.

While HAAi’s DJ-Kicks mix features “Bet” by Surusinghe and “Total Departure” by Christian Martin and John Selway, those two tracks are notably excluded from the unmixed version of the release. Instead, the unmixed side offers PGZ’s “Quality High” and Joshua James‘ “We Go Again” for listeners to feast their ears on.
