in New Releases

Saka leaves his mark with “Asura,” his first solo release on Zeds Dead’s imprint, Deadbeats, which doubles as the lead single off his upcoming EP.

One thing that separates bass producer Saka from most artists is his impressive duality. If you need the perfect hype-up drum and bass track for your drive to work or a melodic marvel to decompress from your day, this artist has the skill set to provide. One thing that’s for certain is if Saka’s influence is on a beat, chances are it’ll be the next track you never knew you needed.

This guru of soundscapes has skyrocketed on the event radar, grabbing the well-deserved attention of tastemakers such as Deadbeats, who gladly took Saka under their wing. Not only does he have support from well-known names and a massive following with his solo career, Rush Hour, his successful side project with Black Carl!, pulls numbers as well. It’s clear that Saka is a rare breed of producer that is undoubtedly taking the electronic scene by storm.

Now, Saka is making his mark on Deadbeats with his first solo release, “Asura,” which doubles as the lead single to hit the airwaves from his forthcoming EP. Showcasing his flawless duality, “Asura” comes in with a soothing, angelic intro that quickly transports you into an anime battle scene. The artist tastefully shifts you from a tender embrace into a blast of hard punches as each beat passes you by, and in turn, will have you gasping for air by the end of its runtime.

Experience the wrath of Saka’s multifaceted talents and hear the impressive range for yourself. He put the elements we all love from his project into perfect arrangements, and “Asura” is the next track you will have on constant repeat. This is the first taste of what is to come from his next EP, so if you liked what you heard, you’re in for a treat.

“Asura” is out now! Listen on Spotify or your favorite streaming service, and keep an eye on Saka’s Twitter for updates on his EP!
