After months of anticipation, DIESEL has released GORILLA WARFARE on Monstercat that’s filled with heavy dubstep tunes and top-tier collaborators.

While Shaquille O’Neal might’ve made his name in the NBA as one of the best to ever touch a basketball, he’s always had a passion for music and has continued to explore that over the years. Early on, he found a home in the hip-hop scene, but more recently, he’s made a larger-than-life impression in the realm of dubstep as DIESEL. The past few years have seen him take the stage at some of the world’s biggest festivals like Tomorrowland, EDC Las Vegas, Lost Lands, and more, all while releasing some massive singles.

Earlier this summer, DIESEL dropped some of his biggest news yet, the announcement that his debut album would be landing on Monstercat. Today, after teasing his fans with a number of singles, GORILLA WARFARE has been officially revealed for the world to hear, and it’s jam-packed with hard-hitting tunes for the masses to consume.

Dubstep for me has always been an escape. A way to show the world there is more to Shaquille O’Neal than just basketball. I love this genre and community so much and my album (GORILLA WARFARE) is proof of that. Working with the underground cats like Crankdat, Jessica Audiffred, Hairitage, and Celo was an eye-opening experience. Together we created some of the hardest-hitting bangers ever. After over two years in the making, we are all so proud of this body of work and cannot wait for the world to listen to GORILLA WARFARE.

Singles from GORILLA WARFARE, such as “BANG YOUR HEAD” with Hairitage, “NO FEAR” with Jessica Audiffred, and “HEAT” with Crankdat helped set the tone for the energetic sounds that would arrive on the full release. Now, everyone can dive deeper into the rest of the tracks that pop off just as much, if not more as he teams up with everyone from VRG and Rated R to Kompany and TRXGGX.

“WARFARE,” DIESEL’s track with CELO, leads the charge with his vocals front and center before building into an aggressive drop that will leave you picking pieces of your brain off the floor. Another standout arrives when Kompany joins in on the fun for “MIDDLE FU.” This one is sure to blast everyone away when it booms through speakers at a festival and have them searching for the nearest rail. And if you want a track that will leave you gasping for air then there’s no doubt that “WARZONE” is the tune for you. This track with Rated R is one of the best on the album with its heavy drops that punch you right in the face.
