Madeon was one of the standout artists who played Brownie & Lemonade’s Rattleship this summer, and now you can watch the full set!
It’s been quite a year for Brownies & Lemonade. The professional party throwers from Southern California have done everything from showcasing rising stars to helping fuel the rise of drum and bass in the US with their DNBNL series, but one of their biggest shows of the year would happen in the Bay Area. On July 1-2, they took over one of the most unique venues they possibly could, the U.S.S. Hornet, for the debut edition of Rattleship.
True to form, Rattleship featured a lineup of mystery artists that would only be revealed at the show, and it drew thousands of dance music lovers from all walks of life. Artists like Delta Heavy, VILLA, Koven, Montell2099, and Stooki Sound took the stage over the two-night run, along with a b2b featuring two of the fastest rising stars in the scene, Wavedash and Moore Kismet. But that wasn’t all that Brownies & Lemonade had in store, as one of the other special sets came from none other than Madeon.
Madeon took the stage on the first night and spun a DJ set filled to the brim with classic tunes and new gems. Layered throughout the set were tracks from artists like Gesaffelstein, The Prodigy, Skrillex, Fred again.., and Flowdan, Hamdi, Alice Deejay, Daft Punk, Peggy Gou, and Umek, while he offered a heavy dose of his own hits, such as “All My Friends” and “Shelter” with Porter Robinson.
Madeon’s set quickly became the talk of the town online, with longtime fans yearning for their chance to have seen it live. Today, the next best thing has arrived as Brownies & Lemonade released the full DJ set on YouTube for those who were there to relive the night and for everyone else to experience for the first time.
