Trance Wax Teases Upcoming Album With "Rhythm Of The Night"

**Trance Wax’s Open Up The Night arrives this fall. Until then, he blesses fans with an early digital release of his highly requested Corona bootleg!**

Garry McCartney has electronic dance music coursing through his veins. You can find him flinging out the house beats as Ejeca while also showing out as Trance Wax, a unique alias that manifests really cool techno and breakbeat edits of classic trance tracks. One of these particular edits was born from Corona‘s 1993 hit “Rhythm Of The Night,” which initially appeared on the limited vinyl pressing Trance Wax Seven. Today, he makes the bootleg official for anyone to grab as part of the lead-up to his sophomore album drop, Open Up The Night!

Unbeknownst to fans, he has been previewing the release since April, dropping Easter eggs in the form of singles “Open Up The Night,” “Adeya,” “Aslan,” and “Love Me Higher.” With today’s unveiling, Trance Wax shouts the album’s September 29 arrival on Armada Music from the mountaintops, stating, “Listeners can expect a switch-up in BPM compared with the last album.” He goes on to say, “It’s a reflection of what I love listening to, be it trance or other genres. There’s some drum and bass influence woven in as well as a bit of breakbeat, which adds a new dimension to the whole thing.”

But the news doesn’t end here. Trance Wax is proud to announce that on September 30, just one day after the album’s release, he’ll launch his brand-new Live AV show at Village Underground in London. Not only will the room be saturated with Trance Wax energy, but ravers will be treated to visuals from Dan Tombs, an artist who has worked on shows for Fred Again.., Azzecca, Rinzen, and so many others! While fans wait for more information on the event, it’s time to officially enjoy the vibey soundscape of Trance Wax’s newest arrival, “Rhythm Of The Night.”

I always believed in this record and still get a buzz from playing it and seeing other people play it. It’s been so heavily requested as a digital release since I put it out on ‘Trance Wax Seven’, so I really want to thank Corona for allowing me to officially share it with the world.
