Kreation makes his Paradigm Shift debut with a mix that pays homage to his past and sets the tone for the future of his project.
The American Hard Dance scene has fostered a plethora of talent in the States over many years. What used to be an imitation of the European scene has flourished into its own culture that highlights bold ideas, intricate genre blends, and adventurous performances, none of which happened overnight. One standout who has been working tirelessly to spread the sound is Kreation.
Kreation has very early beginnings in hard dance music, discovering the sound nearly 15 years ago while scrolling on YouTube. Artists such as Basshunter, Edward Maya, and ItaloBrothers helped nourish his initial passion for dance music until he stumbled upon “Stereophobia” by Dark Oscillators through a Melbourne Shuffle video. At this moment, Kreation knew this was a special genre.
While Kreation had never been to a rave in his entire life, he knew he wanted to be a part of this captivating world forever. As he continued his journey into hard dance music, he discovered different festivals like Defqon.1 and Qlimax, which helped him feel closer to his heritage and family. At 16 years old, this young mastermind dove into the world of DJing with the help of a dubstep DJ. From then, Kreation picked up a pure, unconditional determination to learn music production, leading to the success he sees today.
In addition to hard dance, Kreation has recently made a detour into hard techno, aiming to capture the essence of the music he heard in his early days as a fan. This new chapter in his career ultimately serves as a heartfelt homage to the origins of it all and a tribute to where his roots lie. This venture into hard techno brings lots of music, including a new EP dedicated to the sounds of the underground and the old-school ravers.
Luckily, fans don’t have to wait long to hear some of these brand-new tunes as Kreation stopped by to make his Paradigm Shift debut! For 30 minutes, Kreation celebrates where he’s been while giving fans a preview of the future. You can go “Loco” to his latest collaboration with TYEGUYS, travel to Europe with tunes from TNT and Hardwell, and rock out to his banging bootleg of “Young” by Hollywood Undead. And that’s not all, as Kreation included a hard techno takeover at the end to highlight his newest direction with more than four red-hot unreleased records.
Crank up the volume and get lost in the diverse sounds of Kreation with his Paradigm Shift guest mix on SoundCloud!
