ALRT Packs a Bass House Punch on ‘MULTIPLICITY’

NRG Records boss ALRT delivers his second artist album, MULTIPLICITY, featuring a rousing combination of tech and bass house!

Just last year, LA’s own ALRT took a major step in his career by unleashing his debut LP, Origin. That high-octane fire starter kept the hard dance and trap beats flowing, further solidifying him as a diverse music maker that refuses to get trapped in the genre bubble. Today, this freedom of expression has materialized in the form of MULTIPLICITY, a thrilling album that features party-perfect tech and bass house beats!

Nestling onto ALRT’s personal imprint, NRG Records, MULTIPLICITY was slowly teased to fans just two months after Origin emerged. It all began with “One Time,” a crunchy yet equally lovely house track that bounces back and forth between tech and bass, never allowing for a split second of boredom. From here, ALRT proceeded to unveil single after single, including the cool and collected late-night vibes of “City,” the percussion-dominated “Air Drums,” and the laser-soaked stylings of “High Status.” ALRT topped off the tease with “New Hype,” a delightfully grungy track that cuts aggressively through the speakers, inspiring the crowd to go feral on the dancefloor.

With five snappy soundscapes to set the stage, ALRT introduces a whopping ten more to tie the experience together. Some of the major highlights include “Run It Up,” an offering that drips with so much swagger it should be illegal. He even weaves in some unexpected Middle Eastern flavors that take the listening experience to the next level. Just as impressive is “Make You Move.” This track features an expansive array of twists and turns to keep you twisting and grinding, with everything from complete rhythm flips to tender melodic moments, filled with trippy details for extra spunk.

While you may think ALRT has nowhere left to go, he delivers shock and awe with a wubby UK garage offering. “Through The Fire” is unapologetically addicting, featuring groovy vocals that will serenade the system long after closing. Of course, if you’re feeling the vocal cuts, then make sure to strap your ears tightly to “Never,” blending feminine and masculine vibes for an ultra-sexy result. It’s clear that ALRT loves to ride the laid-back wave and continues to do so in fabulous fashion with the sweet sounds of “Mother.” Although we’re winding down, he keeps the energy alive with two heaping dollops of euphoria and nostalgia, better known as “1985.”

This album from ALRT is going to keep you coming back for more when you realize that with every listen you’re brought face-to-face with a flurry of details you may have missed before. While we’ve simply wet your pallet by nailing down some of the highlights, the full sound expedition is waiting on you.
