Index Marcel Fengler Launches 'HARDPROOF' Compilation Series

**Danny Wabbit, Grace Dahl, vrov, STEYA, and Sigvard are the first artists to grace Index Marcel Fengler’s new HARDPROOF series.**

Last year, legendary techno artist Marcel Fengler took a look back in time to celebrate a decade of his imprint, Index Marcel Fengler. Now, in 2023, he’s set his sights on the future of the imprint and the genre as a whole. Part of that ride arrives in the form of a new compilation series, HARDPROOF, which intends to deviate from the label’s typical sonic, artistic, and design direction while featuring artists showcasing the bright future that techno has on the horizon.

The first to land in the series, HARDPROOF VA01, is out now and features five captivating techno tunes that lovers of the underground sound will immediately flock to. Found in the runtime of this compilation are Danny Wabbit, Grace Dahl, vrov, STEYA, and Sigvard, all of whom deliver dark, driving techno heaters that will leave you gripping on for dear life as they race forward into the subterranean realm. You’ll find yourself captivated by the oscillating industrial elements found on “Sunday Dynamics,” blown away by the larger-than-life “Aeon,” and have your mind warped by “The Girl With The Red Hair,” so give this one a spin!

The HARDPROOF V/A series is a benchmark of quality techno tracks while putting the focus almost exclusively on tracks by younger producers who truly inspire me. Perhaps some of them having a shorter career in the music industry but still produce damn good tracks. I really love their music and I am glad to have every single one of them on board.
