Simon Doty Will Sweep You Away with His Summer Mix

Beloved artist Simon Doty welcomes the summer in style with a mix that’s filled to the brim with curated house gems and IDs.

Canadian DJ and producer Simon Doty has become a true force to be reckoned with in the dance music scene. From creating memorable releases in multiple regions of the house music realm and even touching on trance to spinning sets that have left crowds dancing deep into the night and launching his own label, RECESS, he’s clearly not leaving any stone unturned.

The latest success that Simon Doty saw in the scene arrived in April of this year as he dropped his debut album, Universal Language. Effectively acting as a love letter to the scene, its tracklist was bursting at the seams with emotion-fueled vocals, magical melodic moments, and dancefloor-ready grooves that will leave you feeling intoxicated (but in the best of ways).

Last month saw Simon Doty finish up the first phase of dates on the tour for his debut album, but he’s already begun his run of shows for the second phase including multiple sets at Anjunadeep Explorations this month. Luminosity Beach Festival is the next destination for the Canadian artist, but after stops elsewhere around the globe he’ll make his way back to North America to play Anjunadeep Open Air in New York, Group Therapy Weekender at The Gorge, Chasing Summer Music Festival, and more.

To help everyone get in a summer mood, Simon Doty took the reins of our seasonal mix series and kicked it off with a fantastic hour-long ride. Found within its runtime are curated tunes from artists such as Chris Stussy, Digitalism, and Grigore, along with his own releases like “Have You Ever?” and “Heat Of The Moment.” Additionally, Simon Doty layered in some tasty IDs for everyone to feast their ears on, so make sure you give it a spin!
