WALL Academy Showcases Future Stars on First Four Releases

AFROJACK’s WALL Academy is off to the races with the initial releases on the imprint from Max Robinson, VIKE, Denero, and Champagne Problems.

AFROJACK has always had the future of the scene on his mind over the years as he’s scoured the globe for fresh talent pushing the boundaries of electronic music who have found a home on WALL Recordings. This year, in the midst of a run of shows that included his performance at EDC Las Vegas, he doubled down on that notion with the launch of WALL Academy – a new home for emerging artists who will be the scene’s next superstars.

WALL Academy pulls talent from their Discord channel and offers these fresh producers the tools and resources they’ll need to hone their skills and achieve their dreams, with help from others on the WALL roster along the way. Since its launch, the newly-minted sub-label has already begun to churn out some massive tracks for crowds around the world to consume from artists, including Max Robinson, VIKE, Denero, and Champagne Problems.

Max Robinson was the first to appear on WALL Academy with his track “New Hope,” which featured quality progressive house melodies and was aptly named due to it marking the dawn of a new era. French producer VIKE took the reigns next and took everyone straight to the mainstage with his sonic offering, “Afterlife.” This one features booming drops that will force your feet to shuffle, while the vocal sample in the middle will leave your mind captivated.

Then, it was time for Denero to show his might just as the summer heat began to pick up. The German artist’s track “Fly Away” offers a serene, euphoric intro that builds into its melody that you can easily imagine blasting through the speakers at a festival like Tomorrowland. And if you haven’t quite gotten into the mood this summer yet, the latest tune to land on WALL Academy, “Summer Nights,” will do the trick. Produced by Boston-based artist Champagne Problems, this track will satiate every craving you might have for a true anthem this season with its catchy vocals and nostalgic chords.

This release marks my one year as a producer since the first release I dropped. So proud of the progress I made and grateful to have WALL supporting me on this. My biggest release yet, turning a new page for me,

Champagne Problems
