Golden Features Announces 'Sisyphus' with New Single

**Golden Features gifts fans with dance floor-ready tune “Flesh” and announces his sophomore album, Sisyphus, out July 7 via Foreign Family Collective.**

Constantly pushing genre boundaries and not staying confined to one sound, Golden Features has solidified his place in the scene over the years. Whether you know him from his solo releases, like classic tracks “Worship” and “Wolfie” with Julia Stone, his debut album SECT, or even as one half of BRONSON with ODESZA, this Australian artist continues to impress with a bold discography full of irresistible releases.

After canceling shows earlier this year to spend much-needed time developing his forthcoming album, fans were relieved to hear the announcement of his Sisyphus tour, which kicks off June 16 at The Roxy in Los Angeles. This summer will see Golden Features traveling across North America, with stops in cities like San Francisco, Seattle, Toronto, Austin, and Las Vegas, along with an appearance at Electric Forest. Now, fans can finally look forward to the release of his Sisyphus album, out July 7 via Foreign Family Collective, as well as a taste of what’s to come with a new single, “Flesh.”

‘Flesh’ was one of the earlier demo’s from the album’s writing process. It was a direct response to my time in Berlin and a song that encapsulated everything I fell in love with on my journeys. I wrote it trying to express feelings of being under the weight of an 8 hour session in the rave. Overstimulated, anxious and completely terrified of facing the real world outside. Finally gathering the courage to call it a night experiencing the surreal shift that is walking out of a windowless dungeon into a beautiful sunrise.

“Flesh” arrives with a bang, pulling listeners along for a ride full of entrancing melodies and hard-hitting basslines. Having been influenced by his time clubbing in Berlin, Golden Features pulls out all the stops with his new music, allowing listeners to have their own mini-clubbing experience as they drift away to the rhythm. His signature experimental beats carry fans throughout the release, as we end on brighter notes reminiscent of an industrial rave. With “Flesh” marking the fourth single off Sisyphus, it’s clear that Golden Features is back and better than ever, pursuing a desire for sonic change.
