anamē is hitting the road for their Anywhere Summer Tour, and they set the tone with “Anywhere (Road Trippin’)” to tease their debut LP!

It’s happening! The Scandinavian duo and Anjunabeats staple, anamē, have officially announced that their debut album is in the works. This is thrilling news because, since 2022, these talented producers have been working hand in hand with the brand, delivering the melodic heat on tunes like “Gratitude” with Above & Beyond and Marty Longstaff, “Influencer” with BLR and Robbie Rise, “Light For Me,” and more. But, while there isn’t a release date yet, the guys are quenching our thirst by unleashing the album’s first single, “Anywhere (Road Trippin’).”

The track was tested among thousands of fans as anamē’s closing selection for both of their supporting sets for Above & Beyond at Printworks London, and it made quite the impression. It’s easy to see why. The song is led by heartfelt vocals that’ll make the listener fall desperately in love. As the soft melodics joyfully build in strength, you may have the urge to drop a tear or two, and that’s quite all right. Some of the best tracks to ever emerge have had this effect, and it reminds us that the dancefloor is not only a space to groove but is also a judgment-free sanctuary.

“You can take me anywhere, just as long as you’re with me.” This record glues together what we are about. The first time Thomas sent me the ‘Anywhere’ vocal, I was like, wow. It just hits in the heart. And it very heavily emphasizes songwriting, which is key to us. We don’t just want to make club records. We want to make music that tells a story.

Marcus Schössow (1/2 of anamē)

While this track gives us a glimpse into what fans can expect come time for the full package reveal, it also ties in nicely with their forthcoming tour. In fact, the adventure has been dubbed the Anywhere Summer Tour, and it has anamē touching down in major hot spots, including Dallas, San Francisco, Chicago, and more. It kicks off on June 29 in Las Vegas, and they’ll even be dropping by The Gorge in Washington to party with the Anjunafam at Group Therapy Weekender. But the States can’t have all the fun. At the end of the road, they’ll cross the pond and show some love to the UK, putting a cap on the fun after their performance at the dance music mecca, Tomorrowland.

Read on for the full list of phase one tour dates, enjoy “Anywhere (Road Trippin’)” on Spotify, and grab your copy of the track on your favorite music platform! As always, let us know what you think of the beats on Twitter!
