Last year saw him grow even more with the release of his sprawling 27-track mixtape album, This Is SHÈN, on his newly-minted imprint, SHÈN Recordings, which further highlighted his knack for a deeply compelling production style. Now, the visionary artist is set to make his return to New York for his first stateside SHÈN showcase at the Knockdown Center on April 28.
Off the back of his previous two sold-out shows in New York, the upcoming SHÈN showcase, presented by Gray Area, will be Franky Wah’s largest concert in the city to date. The genre-defying producer is primed to charm the crowd with his unique and distinct sounds from his new offering. Seamlessly weaving in elements of Chinese influence and maintaining a steady consistency to deliver a fresh twist to his music, the crowd can expect to be immersed in a night of explorative dance and introspective music bangers with fan-favorite tunes like “Formulate,” “Find Out Who We Are,” “I Know You,” and more.

I feel such a connection to New York and the people here that have welcomed me and my music so it’s an honour to be able to curate this SHÈN showcase right where my US journey began.
