Mark your calendar this summer for Secret Dreams to see Tipper, Detox Unit, Papadosio, and more in Legend Valley, Ohio!
After a wildly successful first installment last year, Secret Dreams returns to at the renowned Legend Valley from August 17-19, to sweep festival goers off their feet with an incredible first-phase lineup. In this initial announcement, the Secret Dreams Productions team has taken our breath away with a lineup that will warm the hearts and ears of bass music, electronic, jam, and instrumental-electronic fusion fans alike.
Like last year, we’ll see Papadosio take over the main stage with three uniquely curated sets. The festival will also welcome the well loved, future-funk, jazz fusion band Lettuce, who always put on an immaculate show. Unfortunately last year, STS9 had to cancel their appearance, but this year they will return for two sets. Random Rab and Lapa will be putting on a performance as their newly announced duo DOS, which is sure to fill downtempo, electronica and instrumental music lovers with boundless joy and an intimate experience.
The event will be headlined by a Tipper and Friends Takeover, which we’re excited for as their set was negatively affected by the weather last year. Other artists who were impacted are also making an appearance including Resonant Language, Schmoop, Mickman, and K.L.O. Many may be surprised to see that Detox Unit is included on the lineup, as he announced after his most recent show in Denver that he would be taking a hiatus. Fans of Detox will certainly be ecstatic to see him featured with two sets, which will most likely be another “Head Nod Hammock Sesh” during an earlier timeslot, as well as a more immersive, sound system experience nighttime slot. Of The Trees joins Secret Dreams for the first time this year, after having just announced his first festival headliner at The Untz.
This is sure to be one of the peak festival events of the summer as Secret Dreams will bring numerous art installments and workshops, in addition to top-tier musical acts for the diverse, music-loving individuals who make up the immaculate culture. Legend Valley does an amazing job providing a well organized and intimate festival space, which will likely feature three stages, along with workshop spaces, a vast vendor village, and camping both within the festival grounds and outside of the gates. We can expect that the production team will also bring back “Tastefully Reduced Volume” late night sessions, which ran to 4 AM and sunrise.
