Trance phenom Cold Blue is kicking off 2023 with a new label for fans to follow and its first single, “Redemption.”
As one of the coolest artists in the trance scene, Cold Blue has only continued to captivate his growing, global fanbase with each passing release and performance. Whether he’s taking the stage at festivals like Dreamstate SoCal and Luminosity or delivering surreal, emotion-fueled soundscapes on releases like Summer Chills and Winter, it’s clear that everything he touches turns to ice-covered gold.
While Cold Blue has graced labels ranging from Black Hole Recordings and Subculture to FSOE and Anjunabeats over the course of his career, one aspect of his legacy had yet to be checked off – his very own imprint. But in the first weeks of 2023, that part of his journey has officially begun as he announced the launch of his self-titled imprint, Cold Blue Records.
Speaking about the label launch, Cold Blue said that a record label bearing his name had been “a dream” of his for years and that this new home in the trance community. Not only will Cold Blue Records allow him to “expand artistically” and explore more possibilities to bring the genre to further reaches of the globe, but also feature other artists “whose studio work speaks to [him].”
The first track to land on the label is “Redemption,” a sensational soundscape that features his signature blend of chilly, somber elements with an uplifting energy that will simultaneously warm the depths of your core – making it perfect for your winter playlists. This floor-filling trance tune is just the beginning of what’s to come on Cold Blue Records as this label finds its footing in the early months of 2023.
