Gl0bal has taken the bass scene by storm and is celebrating the upcoming release of his debut album, Judgement Day, by spinning up an all-original mix.
Multi-faceted artist Gl0bal has been on a significant rise through the ranks of the scene over the past few years, and it’s clear that nothing will stand in his way on his path to total domination. From early releases on Uprise Music to more recent gems on Circus Records and Subsidia, he’s continued to deliver massive track after massive track – and now he’s gearing up for his biggest release to date.
On February 10, Gl0bal will unveil his debut album, Judgement Day, for his growing fanbase to consume. Lead single “Demon Hours” arrived late last year and saw the Canadian artist team up with London-based rapper Big Jest to create a soundscape that blended the worlds of UK Drill and hard trap. More recently, Gl0bal dropped the second single off the album, “Pain,” where he continued to flex his dynamic genre-blending capabilities by looking to Armanni Reign for a hip-hop-fueled bass ride.
Now, with less than two weeks left until Judgement Day drops, Gl0bal has swung by to provide some insight into his local scene in Kelowna. “My local scene has changed a fair bit, but we have tons of super-talented producers making noises from House, Techno, Pop, and of course, bass music,” he said about the community in this small city in British Columbia. “Lots of us have received some global support with our tunes, but unfortunately, since the pandemic, events have taken a complete nose dive, and it’s very difficult for us to participate in any shows.”
The local scene is very small, and I’d easily argue that a lot of producers in my city, if given the same light and opportunity as others, would, at a minimum, make just as much noise across the festival circuit.

As an artist who is always focused on the future, Gl0bal shared some insight into what’s to come after his debut album drops in February as well. “I have two big official remixes I need to finish and two other EPs that I haven’t had a chance to get back to,” he said. “On top of this, I have tons of collabs with new producers, and I’m looking forward to releasing more music than normal to really showcase more of my range.”
To celebrate the upcoming release of Judgement Day, Gl0bal spun up an all-original mix that is filled to the brim with his solo tracks, collaborations, and a few IDs for added effect. Give it a listen on SoundCloud, download or stream “Pain” on your preferred platform, and stay tuned for the album to drop on February 10.
