Belly Up Aspen and Palm Tree Crew join forces to deliver a destination festival to the snowy slopes of Aspen, featuring Kygo, Jack White, and more.

The time has finally arrived for world-renowned venue Belly Up Aspen to spread its wings into the next chapter and throw a two-day festival all its own. Enter Palm Tree Festival Aspen. The brainchild of global superstar DJ and producer Kygo, his manager Myles Shear, and Belly Up Aspen owners David and Danny Goldberg, this unique destination festival is set to land on February 24-25 in Rio Grande Park.

While Palm Tree Crew and the Goldberg brothers are well-rooted industry veterans, this will be the first collaboration of its kind. The group has also tapped industry powerhouse and C3 Events to help handle production for Palm Tree Festival. After conquering juggernaut events such as Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits, it is safe to say Palm Tree Festival Aspen is in excellent hands.

Palm Tree Festival Aspen not only delivers a hand-crafted lineup for passionate dance music fans from around the country but also locks in one of the greatest living guitarists of our time, Jack White, as he headlines the festival’s opening night. Also taking the stage on day one will be blossoming indie-pop trio Cannons and maestro of melodic dance ballads Gryffin. The second day kicks off with Palm Tree Records mainstays Forester as they carry their lush soundscapes through the snowy peaks of Aspen. Also joining the party will be indie-dance singer-songwriter King Princess, who delivers an upbeat atmospheric vibe, setting the stage for Saturday night headliner Kygo to shut down the festival in style.

Belly Up Aspen, at its core, operates on a level of intimacy that is second to none, and Palm Tree Festival Aspen strives to maintain that signature level of familiarity throughout the weekend. While Aspen’s annual event calendar is chock-full of world-class events of all kinds. Palm Tree Festival Aspen strives to deliver a breath of fresh air to the intimate mountain music scene, and we can’t think of a better team for the job than Palm Tree Crew and The Goldbergs.

We just want to give people the best experience that they can have in this town. We have an appreciation for the people that have traveled very far or just two minutes, or whatever it is to support us, so we want to give every person the same world-class experience, world-class music, and world-class fun.

Logan Garrison

It was a decade ago that Logan Garrison, better known as DJ Lo_G, first took the stage to spin sets for crowds in the snowy towns of Lake Tahoe and Aspen. Originally spinning sounds in the realm of glitch and bass music, he began to develop a passion for all things house as he returned to his hometown and hasn’t looked back since. Over the years, DJ Lo_G has become a fixture in the Aspen nightlife scene as he has found a home at Belly Up and regularly warms up the stage for some of dance music’s biggest artists like The Chainsmokers, Chris Lake, Slow Magic, Nora En Pure, and most recently ZHU. Joining the EDM Identity team back in 2018, he’s dug even deeper into dance music and the festival scene. Whether he’s covering events like Mysteryland and shows in Aspen, interviewing artists like Hannah Wants, and reviewing fresh releases, his passion for the entire community shines throughout.
