Charlotte de Witte has been on a tear this year with jaw-dropping sets at festivals like Tomorrowland and EDC Las Vegas, where she’s won crowds over with her hypnotic style. On the release front, she dropped Universal Consciousness back in April on her KNTXT imprint, which was filled to the brim with stunning tunes. Now, as Charlotte de Witte gears up for her forthcoming label showcase during ADE, she takes fans on another cross-genre, multi-dimensional, acid-trip wormhole of a joyride with her newly released Apollo EP.

Apollo sees Charlotte de Witte take a different approach yet continue to inspire creative thought from listeners. Mysteriously poetic vocals alongside purposeful, driving beats open the EP with “Missing Channel.” Low chants and nicely stacked, dark underpinnings help groove the song along while the listener’s primary focus strays to the track’s refreshingly strong yet feminine hand.

The title track, “Apollo,” leads us in with a fun intro that almost immediately takes an eerie turn with haunting laughter. Steady upticks in tempo and ethereal space sounds captivate the mind – it’s the ideal accompaniment for a quick jog across the galaxy. Closing out the EP is “PPC,” which is ‘experimental’ in the best of ways. This chilled-out, darkness-fueled track features space transmissions and lacks a defined beat as Charlotte de Witte flexes her ability to create a cinematic atmosphere that’s pure and eloquent.
