Tim Green is gearing up for the release of Eastbound Silhouettes and dropped “Lune” to give fans a taste of what’s to come.
While Tim Green has graced countless labels over the years, one of the most beloved homes for his releases has been on All Day I Dream. Previous EPs like Melanda and The Moss, along with a flurry of singles and remixes on the Lee Burridge-led imprint, have swept listeners off their feet and whisked them away to a bliss-like state of mind. Now, after taking the stage at All Day I Dream’s curated festival earlier this year, Tim Green returns to the label with new music in tow.
On October 28, Tim Green will unveil his latest body of work, a mini album dubbed Eastbound Silhouette that is set to feature six new tracks from this melodic maestro. “I’m extremely excited to have this release come out, what I think of as a Mini-album! Six tracks that I hope take the listener on a mini journey,” he said about the album. “Some dance floor, some more home listening. But it’s an honour to be back on All Day I Dream, a place I call home and my family.”
While fans will have to wait just a tad longer to hear all of the tunes found on Eastbound Silhouette, including its title track that sees Tim Green team up with Felicia Douglass, he’s gifted everyone with a first listen. The lead single, “Lune,” is out now across all platforms and clocks in at a whopping nine and a half minutes. Found within its runtime is everything from minimal percussion to heavenly melodies that wrap you in a warm embrace while carrying on with his tradition of creating stunning sonic experiences that listeners won’t soon forget.
Listen to “Lune” on Spotify or your preferred platform, and make sure to pre-order Eastbound Silhouettes ahead of its release on October 28.
