Vintage & Morelli Offers Serene Soundscapes on 'Karibu' EP

**Serbian producer Vintage & Morelli takes his talents to Monstercat Silk with the release of the three-track Karibu EP.**

Those who have fallen in love with the sound of trance, melodic house, and progressive should also be familiar with the name Vintage & Morelli. This Serbian DJ and producer made a name for himself over the years by creating some of the most immersive soundscapes found in the scene, and he’s only gotten better with each passing release. While Vintage & Morelli’s music has found a home on labels ranging from Anjunabeats and FSOE Parallels to Elliptical Sun and Black Hole Recordings, he blossomed on Silk Music (now Monstercat Silk).

Among the plethora of releases on Monstercat Silk from the mind of Vintage & Morelli was The Light, a sensational album that dropped last year and saw him team up with Arielle Maren. Now, after releasing a flurry of remixes from that album earlier this year, he’s returned to the imprint with Karibu, a three-track EP brimming with beautiful melodies that will whisk you away to a different state of mind.

The title track opens this journey and offers a range of sonic elements for listeners to explore, from the strings and chimes to the organic percussion and synths found within its runtime. It’s warm and welcoming, which is exactly what he set off to achieve. “I’ve been watching this documentary on Africa and got inspired by the wonderful people, their kindness, and enjoying the simple things in life,” Vintage & Morelli said about the inspiration behind this release. “Karibu means “Welcome” in Swahili, thus the name.”

The other two tracks, “Once Upon A World” and “On The Beach,” were unveiled as singles over the course of the summer and bring their own unique soundscapes along with them. The pensive yet uplifting atmospheres found in “Once Upon A World” make this track a memorable one, while “On The Beach” is a perfect track to play when you’re looking to dance during the final moments of the day with your toes in the sand.
