The final weeks of summer are looming on the horizon and All Day I Dream is here to help everyone stay cool. The Lee Burridge-led imprint and curated show series has become renowned for whisking listeners away to a dreamlike state of mind, and they’ve accomplished that once again with Summer Sampler 2022.
The latest edition in the Summer Sampler series offers 12 tracks from an assortment of global artists who are all connected by their chilled-out styles. Leading the pack is the daughter of iconic house pioneer John ‘Jellybean’ Benitez, Layla Benitez, and vocalist Max Milner with “Fizzy Pop.” This track sets the tone for what’s to come as it immediately places listeners on a beachside dancefloor with its soothing elements and emotion-fueled vocals.
While each tune found on Summer Sampler 2022 offers a sense of serenity, a few stood tall among the rest. “Nerves Of Love” by Cocho, “Rainforest Walk” by Obbie, and “Eudaemonia” by Andy Woldman, Liam Sieker, and Wilma will move those who listen to them. Lee Burridge and Lost Desert’s “revisit” to “The Garden of Earthly Delight” is another gem that perfectly ends this storybook journey to the clouds.
