Dance Your Heart Out to These Throwbacks Ahead of Heatwave 2022

Heatwave Music Festival 2022

Heatwave Music Festival is bringing some of our favorite electronic dance music artists together and we’ve compiled a throwback playlist to get you hyped.

Heatwave Music Festival is bridging the gap between experiential art and leading dance music talent while also planning to bring the heat to Chicago during its debut edition. In just a few short weeks, attendees will be traveling from near and far to Douglass Park on July 16-17 for a weekend full of immersive pop art and infectious dance tunes.

Auris Presents, which also puts on ARC Music Festival, curated a stunning lineup to help bring the pop culture side of this fresh event to life. They’ve gathered some of the world’s most celebrated electronic music artists from around the globe including Above & Beyond, Galantis, RL Grime, G Jones, Tiesto, Audien, and Zeds Dead, among others. Additionally, some Chicago residents such as Win & Woo, Birthdayy Partyy, Tres Mortimer, and JakeShoreDrive will be present at the festival as well.

This is really an event not to miss, especially if you’re in need of a great time and lots of good vibes. Now, with the festival just over a week away, it’s time for everyone to prepare to boogie. We’ve prepared a playlist featuring some throwback gems from the artists who are set to take the stage over the course of the weekend, so check it out, make sure to bring your dancing shoes, and don’t forget to stay hydrated – there’s a Heatwave coming!

Tickets for the debut edition of Heatwave are still available so grab them now before it’s too late! Stream our throwback playlist on Spotify, and let us know who you’re most excited to see in the comments!
