Mona Vale Debuts on Anjunadeep with 'Pieces Of You' EP

**London-based duo Mona Vale makes their debut on Anjunadeep with the sweet sounds found on the Pieces Of You EP.**

The UK has churned out some of the most sensational artists in the dance music realm for decades and one of the latest to cause a stir is Mona Vale. This duo marries the minds of Jamie Hoddle and Lewis Gregory, two musicians who grew up playing in bands together before finding a passion for club-ready beats. Since dropping “Not Given Up” back in 2016, Mona Vale has only continued to pick up momentum with their releases, even recently gaining a nod from BBC Radio 1 hosts after the release of their single “Solis.”

Now, Mona Vale has set their sights on reaching even greater heights by making their debut on Anjunadeep with the Pieces Of You EP. Out now across all platforms, this three-tracker is filled with beats that are sure to get anyone moving on the dancefloor as the duo layers in elements from disco, house, and more to craft some sublime soundscapes.

Lead track “Pieces Of You” is one that should be familiar to the Anjuna faithful as it was featured by James Grant and Jody Wisternoff on Anjunadeep 13 earlier this year. The upbeat elements make this track one that will keep you coming back for a repeat listen as you dance the day away while it plays through your speakers. Then, “Sunshine” enters into the mix with its catchy house groove and uplifting vocals that hit just right before Mona Vale brings the EP to a proper close with more chilled-out atmospheres on “Place To Hide.”

We feel like we’ve managed to blend all our influences into this EP, with emotive songwriting and melodies that run through our sound coupled with a nod to the disco and house records we love to play out in our DJ sets. We’re just as much musicians as we are producers so writing a collection of songs that would work both in our live sets as well as in DJ sets was a big focus for us while we were writing the EP.
