Returning to Seattle for the first time in three years, Black Book in the Park delivers a stellar lineup, including Chris Lake, Noizu, Yolanda Be Cool, and more.
Celebrate America’s birthday this July 4 beneath Seattle’s iconic Space Needle with some of the best names in house music. Chris Lake’s illustrious label Black Book Records is set to bring their must-see event series back to the Emerald City for the first time post-pandemic. After leaving their mark on Seattle’s most iconic landmark back in 2019, Black Book (and the world) has gone through immense change. Now the time has come to make their triumphant return to the Mural Amphitheater with cant-miss sets from Chris Lake himself and a varsity roster of house music maestros.
One of house music’s hottest producers, Noizu will also take the decks at Black Book in the Park this summer as he delivers his massive hits, “Summer 91 (Looking Back)” “Mi Corazon,” and “Middle” to eager house heads from far and wide. Also dominating the vibes will be sensational party-starters Yolanda Be Cool with their utterly electric, fiery hits, “Dance and Chant” and “Work Your Body.” Not to be left out is one of house music’s brightest rising stars, HoneyLuv who has been steadily climbing the ranks and delivering a proper dose of soul with her infectious bangers, “Tongue,” “Thr33 6ix 5ive,” and more. Finally, Gene Lee will be rounding out this summer’s Black Book in the Park.
Aside from having Chris Lake at the helm, Black Book Records has carved out a space for themselves at the forefront of house music culture. From expertly curated lineups for their event series to dropping some of the hottest records in house, few labels come close to the level of excellence that Black Book has built for itself.
