Lauren Mia Releases ‘Eternal Existence’ EP

in New Releases

Rising star Lauren Mia takes her talents to Petit Matin with a two-track EP that will whisk you away to another realm of existence.

Los Angeles-based DJ and producer Lauren Mia is no stranger to making beautiful music. From her early days as a classical pianist to finding a passion for electronic music production, while dabbling in singing and songwriting along the way, she’s continued to evolve with each passing year. Her releases are firmly centered in the realm of melodic techno and progressive, with emotional tones at the forefront to promote a sense of healing while listeners dance and sway to her beats.

Previous releases from Lauren Mia have found a home on imprints including Anjunadeep, Masonia Recordings, Rose Avenue, and Harabe, among others. This year saw her expand even more with the release of “Ohm” on Petit Matin back in March, and now she’s returned to the imprint with her latest sonic offering, the two-track Eternal Existence EP.

Leading the way is “One,” a sublime tune that features sultry instrumentals, otherworldly synths, and a beat that chugs forward with added intensity along the way. This one is a true gem that showcases the immense ability that Lauren Mia has in the studio as she explores elements of personal growth and philosophy in an all-instrumental fashion. Sometimes you don’t need words to guide you to a different state of being and this track proves that fully.

Once you’ve become “One” with yourself, “Converge” enters into the equation. Perfect for those late nights dancing under the stars, this track sees her team up with Fractures to provide extra depth with melancholic lyrics that touch the soul. As the vocals stir up emotions, the brooding nature of “Converge” is only further accented by the bassline, piano notes, and synths that take it to the next level.

‘Converge’ is to remind us of the convergence of our soul. The ego is not bad, it is just trying to help us survive in our human experiences, it’s a part of us, but it isn’t us… If we can remember what our soul truly is, who it is, within it, we can merge the two together. Become whole, closer to ‘One’ – and heal. ‘Converge’ is the motivation and inspiration for the two parts to converge, to merge. To become ‘One’ as all our souls continue to ‘exist eternally.’
