New York has long been a home for a wide range of creatives, especially over the past four decades in the realm of electronic music. From birthing genres and fresh venues to fostering talented artists, established and rising alike, who continue to impress with their unique releases, there’s just something special in their air. One of those rising artists who is making his claim on the scene is Furcloud – a fresh face you need to become acquainted with if you love the sounds of progressive and melodic house and techno.
Furcloud emerged on the scene last year and dropped a number of absolute stunners for his growing fanbase to bask in on labels including Purified to Immersed. This included his collaborative EP with Heard Right, Rise, as well as his work with Fløa on “Early Hours.” Now, in 2022, Furcloud continues to show off his impeccable style by teaming up with Fløa on The Illusion Of Impression / Stellar that found a home on Colorize – and is set to bring even more sounds to the imprint soon, so stay tuned.
To give everyone a taste of the soundscapes he’s able to curate behind the decks, Furcloud spun up a mix for the Winter Waveforms series that is dripping with quality tunes. “In this mix, I included some of my favorite tracks from artists like Marsh, Durante, Amtrac, and more,” he said when asked about the mix. “I also added some of my unreleased music that will be out in the upcoming months.
