After dropping his latest tune, “afterthought,” rising artist helloworld curated a playlist of tracks that complement the release.
The dance music scene continues to flourish with fresh faces who are changing up the game with unique sounds and new takes on electronic styles. One of those fresh faces is helloworld, a dynamic artist who found success last year with releases on Heaven Sent and Lost In Dreams like “voices” with Pauline Herr, “waves,” and “nothing left to hide.”
Now, helloworld is continuing to rise in the scene in 2022. He kicked off the year by revealing his identity with a stripped-back version of “only way out” and then dropped the afterthought EP which brought his previously released singles together with the new track for fans to feat on. Featuring stunning vocals from Luma, the title track breaks from his softer side to bring some added heaviness with its glitched-out bass elements to make it stand out. After the release of “afterthought,” helloworld gave us some added insight into the track’s creation and gifted us with a playlist of tunes that he’s been digging lately and complement the tune.
So excited for the world to hear ‘afterthought’, this track is one of the earlier ones I’ve made that I’ve put out on ‘helloworld’, in fact, I wrote the instrumental before I even thought of ‘helloworld’ as the name for the project! These are some tracks that I feel complement the release and honestly just some tunes I’ve been really loving lately – enjoy.
