Punctual teams up with Jordan Shaw for the release of the upbeat banger, “Do It All Again,” ahead of their forthcoming EP on Monstercat.
UK-based duo Punctual is indeed punctual with the timing of their releases. They’ve delivered some bass-thumping club bangers since first arriving on the scene while also working with other artists like Jason Derulo on his tune “Acapulco.” Now, these two have crafted up a fresh tune, “Do It All Again,” that’s arrived just in time for the start of festival season.
Out now on Monstercat, “Do It All Again” is the lead single off their forthcoming EP and kicks off Punctual’s pursuit of even greater heights in the scene this year. Stemming from an idea to sample Bronski Beat’s “Small Town Boy,” a song they both loved while growing up, the two looked to Jordan Shaw to further take the track to the next level.
Speaking about the creation of “Do It All Again,” Punctual said, “We wrote the track whilst looking forward to post-pandemic life and being able to party freely again! This has been a crazy couple of years, and we really wanted to write a song that encapsulated the feeling.” They also expressed their excitement for finally working with Jordan Shaw, a singer-songwriter they “wanted to do a tune with” for a while.
True to their statement, “Do It All Again” is a tune that’s celebratory at its core with a bouncy beat that evokes imagery of warmer days of spring and summer ahead. Jordan’s deep, rich vocals blend very naturally with Punctual’s synths and pop sound, making for a track that is sure to find its way to speakers at their upcoming festival appearances at Glastonbury and Tomorrowland this season.
Listen to “Do It All Again” on Spotify or your favorite streaming platform, and stay tuned for their full EP to drop on Monstercat in the coming months!
